This beautiful verse has been percolating in my mind for the past several weeks. I find its practicality and oceanic wisdom to be particularly inspiring.
hṛdaya-kuhara-madhye kevala-brahma-mātram
aham aham iti sākṣad ātma rūpena bhāti
hṛdi viśa manasā svam cinvatā mājjatā vā
pavana-calana-rodhād ātma-niṣtho bhava tvam
In the center of the cave of the heart there is only Brahman.
Manifesting through the form of the Self as just “I.”
With your mind, gathering and merging itself, or,
through controlling the movement of the breath, enter into the heart.
Be established within as the Self.
